Encounter - Jasmine

How Jasmine met Kristin at the 2008 Paley Festival:

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Paley Festival on Saturday, and it was awesome!

The event started with a recap of Pushing Daisies episodes thus far. Then the cast and producers were introduced (Kristin got the most applause and was clearly the crowd favorite!) Unfortunately, my camera died after recording a really low quality video of Kristin being introduced and walking on stage. After the moderator finished asking the cast questions, they opened the floor for the members of the audience to ask questions, and I was lucky enough to get to ask the panel a question! I said that I love the whole cast but that Kristin is my favorite and I love it when she sings, to which Kristin smiled and thanked me (!!!) and I asked if there was a Pushing Daisies soundtrack in the works. The producers said that they're looking forward to releasing a soundtrack, but it didn't seem like much thought had been put into it, which I guess is understandable considering there have only been two or three songs featured so far. The panel discussion ended with a question about Chuck never aging and Anna Friel needing botox to play the part. Kristin joked that she had a great botox surgeon.

Afterwards I met Kristin and wished I could say something really great to her, but all that came out of my mouth was: "You're sooo pretty!" She thanked me and said, "There are some days I feel not-so-pretty, and today is one of those days!" It was obvious she was tired, but she made a real effort to get autographs and pictures for everyone. She's so thoughtful that way!
